mïus Drops ‘Worthy’ ft. HALOSARA: A Downtempo Gem from Budapest’s Electronic Core

mïus lands his newest single, ‘Worthy‘ with HALOSARA, today via Théque Records. The track caps a run that’s seen Gergely Álmos—the Budapest-based producer and multi-disciplinary artist behind the mïus project—solidify his spot in Europe’s electronic underground. Across six albums, he’s pulled in nods from outlets like Mixmag, CLASH Magazine, Vice, DJ Mag Spain, Faze Mag, and When We Dip, plus spins on BBC Radio 6, Rinse FM, and KCRW. His catalog’s clocked over a million Spotify streams, drawing remixes from Brandt Brauer Frick, Vessels, and Robot Koch, and releases on imprints like Sonar Kollektiv. mïus has hit Bandcamp editorial picks, Spotify’s TOP 50 UK and TOP 50 Germany, and even snagged a Mixmag YouTube premiere for the video to ‘Strobe and Noise‘.

At its base, ‘Worthy‘ leans on fractured downtempo rhythms that ease in softly, with synth lines floating just above the mix. Sparse piano lines cut through, lifting HALOSARA‘s vocals into a dreamy state. The arrangement builds in quiet waves, hitting a peak that’s all restraint but tries to get you to that state of euphoria, warm in its digital edges.

mïus shared: “When Sara sent the phone recording of her playing on the piano and singing, its simplicity immediately inspired me. I loved the original draft so much that I kept the phone-recorded chords in the background at the beginning of the song.

HALOSARA added: “This song is basically an apology to myself for treating myself badly for such a long period. The song came together in such an organic way — it almost wrote itself. I had this little voice memo recording “in the drawer” that I sent to Geri. He took the song to a completely different and interesting level than I had initially thought.”
