Soundtracking the launch are Badger and A Guy Called Gerald, two DJs who’ve shaped the underground in their own ways. A Guy Called Gerald is a legend, his acid house anthem ‘Voodoo Ray’ a blueprint for the genre, while Badger’s talent on the decks have him pegged as the next big thing in the scene. This duo’s about to turn Manchester into a musical hotspot.
The day starts with Muck Pit Brew vans rolling through Manchester, popping up at fan-favorite haunts like Directors Box, Quarter House, and Walkabout. Badger and A Guy Called Gerald will be on deck, serving beats alongside free samples of the brew. The climax hits at Manchester Cathedral with a free B2B set that’s set to fuse jungle’s gritty roots with today’s boundary-pushing sounds—an unmissable clash of eras and energy. Bars on the Muck Up Manchester map will also offer a “Swap My Usual” promo, hooking you up with a complimentary pint.
