The new single, ‘Unleash‘ (feat. Otherside) by Kozah is available now via Hegemon Records, showcasing the bright talent of the young Albanian-American producer’s style.
With prestigious festivals and venues such as GlobalDance Festival USA, Red Rocks, Skylab Festival USA, BassLight Festival and USA nightclubs Club Beta and The Church already under his belt, Kozah’s sights seem to be set on creating an original sound. Speaking about the single, KOZAH says, “‘Unleash’ is the gem from my first EP One More Emotion. It’s a special emotional track representing my sound and my feelings at the time I wrote it. An organic collaboration with vocalist Otherside completed my original thinking behind it.”
An uplifting, expansive introduction gives way to sincere vocals, building in emotional intensity until the jaw-droppingly intense break section, with its trap rhythms, powerful hits and bursts of bright, shimmering synthesiser.
Kozah has already received support from major YouTube channels Mr Suicide Sheep and Trap Nation with over 2.8 million views. A self-taught musician, KOZAH has developed a style that sees him meld together elements of film score music, ethnic melodies and live-played instruments, with trap-style drums and seismic rhythmic breaks, all arranged around soaring, uplifting vocals.
