Indie Band tiny deaths Worked With Producer Paper Tiger On a Refreshing New Remix of ‘Stop The Stars’

LA indie dream-pop band tiny deaths released ‘Stop The Stars (Paper Tiger Remix)’ 4 October via Handwritten Records. The duo have already encountered significant media backing, enjoying features in The Guardian, Billboard, The 405, Stereogum, Earmilk, Clash Magazine, PopMatters, and many more.

While the original track ‘Stop The Stars’ is the ultimate slow indie track, the Paper Tiger remix crosses over into ambient territory. It enchants with a strong bassline halfway, removing any expectations their listeners may express. Occasionally chimes reverb, the rhythm escapes the distinct tempo, giving a dimension not usually connected with the instrument.

Singer Claire gives some insight into the remix, “I was so excited to work with John (Paper Tiger), a Brooklyn based producer and member of the Minneapolis hip-hop collective Doomtree,  after years of crossing paths and almost but never quite finding a way to work together. I think John has a super unique ear and we were so excited to hear how he flipped “Stop the Stars,” one of our favourite songs from the album.”
